Hello! How can we help?

Sequential Distribution

Learn about Sequential Distribution.

Sequential Distribution

Sequential distribution provides the ability for a series of ads to be delivered to a

unique listener in a specified order, each ad building on the previous one to tell a

story or achieve a goal.

How It Works:

Frequency identifies a unique user on the basis of ListenerId. If ListenerId is not

provided, the system falls back to DeviceId. If DeviceId is not provided, no unique

user session is maintained.

Please note: Sequential Distribution does not work for ads over the course of a

downloaded podcast episode (e.g. Pre-roll, Mid-roll, Post-roll) due to the full episode

being downloaded with all placements to a userโ€™s device at the same time.

Benefits:

  • Extend the Messaging - Deliver a comprehensive message across multiple ads

(e.g. automotive - many features for a new car).

  • Reduce Creative Fatigue - Present unique messaging with each ad to improve

engagement.

  • Highlight a Call-to-Action - Vary your ad messaging to ensure that your

call-to-action resonates with listeners.

  • Enhance Brand Recall - Build upon previous ads to reinforce brand attributes

and messaging.
