Frequency Capping
Frequency Capping sets the maximum number of times an ad creative can be heard
by a unique listener during a flight. This feature improves the listener experience and
reduces creative fatigue.
How It Works:
When more than one file exists, users will have the option to select a frequency cap (1
to 99) on the creative level within an ad unit. A default file (identified with a pin icon)
must also be selected in order to avoid under-delivery, and will be heard by the
listener once the frequency cap has been reached across all ad creatives.
Frequency capping can coexist with Sequential and Weighted distribution andalso
be applied when Data Signals are used.
The Frequency Creative Manager identifies a unique user on the basis of ListenerId. If
ListenerId is not provided, the system uses DeviceId. If DeviceId is not provided, a
unique user session is not maintained.
